sick day

I started puking on sunday afternoon, along with some other not-so-great-stuff. earlier in the day on sunday, after shooting, I ate a boston cream donut, which might be what did it. but, though I haven't puked since early monday morning, I haven't felt much better since, so it might be something bigger. took yesterday off work (thanks to k and c for subbing). feel pretty awful today, but e's got me hooked up to a gatorade iv. gotta pump up those electrolytes.

old nyc photos

Maybe this is old news, but I didn't know that new york city was selling new prints from older negatives in their archives. The prices might seem a wee bit steep to some, but if the prints are quality I think they're kind of a bargin.

up/downgrade

So, I've finally made the move to mt 3.2. Of course, in the process I accidently erased all the images that made up the treasure hunt and self-portraits series. Nothing good comes cheap, as my dear friend malice might say.

On the bright side, because of the upgrade, it looks as though anyone can comment on my site again. And since anyone pretty much means malice and thorn, I'm sure they're both tickled pink. I'm also pretty sure thorn is using the beta version of mt 4.5, and is probably wondering why I'm still bloggin' in the stone ages.

electricity bill

has anyone else's electric bill gone through the roof this season? e and I got our first bill after our first reading, and they're telling us we owe aprox. $150 a month!

been posting to the diary a lot more recently, instigated, mostly, by the purchase of an lx-1. very small, shoots raw, and has image stabilization. perfect for now, ntil the next great thing rears its head.
